Dryer Vent Inspection in San Diego, CA

What a dryer vent inspection actually involves
The dryer comes out first. We pull it forward and look at the transition duct behind it. Garage-corner installations usually show the damage right there. Flexible foil or vinyl gets crushed against the wall. Then we open the dryer's lint trap housing and check the blower side. A camera goes up the duct from inside. We run it to the termination and watch for turns, sags and packed elbows. Outside, we confirm the cap opens while the dryer runs.
Airflow gets measured at the hood, not guessed. A vent that looks clear from the laundry room can still be blocked at the roof cap. Upstairs runs in post-1980 tract homes turn vertical, and lint collects at that first elbow. Roof caps collect their own problems: screens, bird nesting, flappers caked in dust.
Older single-story homes here often have short exterior-wall runs. Those are easy to inspect and easy to ignore. Check behind the shrubs. Sidewall caps get buried, or stucco patches seal the flap shut.
San Diego's dry air hides restriction. Owners call about multi-cycle drying, a hot laundry room, or a burning smell long before they see moisture. Soffit-routed condo closets and pet households earn annual inspection.

Call (619) 566-3351What Happens After You Call Us
Call and tell us your dryer brand and roughly how long the run is. We give you a two-hour arrival window, and we text when the tech is driving to you.
We inspect the vent inside and out, then quote a firm number before any tool comes off the truck. The estimate is free, and run length and exit type move the price.
We pull the lint, run the dryer to check airflow, vacuum up behind the machine, and reconnect it. You pay the quoted number, not a dollar more.
